Stage, Prepare, Schedule finished products for shipment as per production planning while maintaining LN TransfersStage, Prepare, Schedule all in bound receivables of finished goods, supplies, packaging materials while maintaining LN transfers.
Operate forklift in a safe manner to load/unload trailers as needed.
Review and update controls for inventory functions with periodic cycle counts of packaging Material inventories when required.
Assist in physical count inventory of finished goods, supplies and packaging materials.
Determine correctness of physical and perpetual inventory for packaging materials.
Assist to develop formulas for control of min-max inventories of packaging materials.
Maintain weekly perpetual inventory of packaging material movement (as appropriate)Utilize the sites information technology systems required to review production needs, staging materials as required on a daily basis and material purchasing review requirements on a weekly basis.
Place routine material requisitions to support production needs, confirm PO's are entered and signed and follow up on delivery as required.
Investigate and provided feedback on high/low usage of items.
Plan for increases or decreases in inventory volume with the Operations team.
Develop and inventory Planning Model to determine most cost effective strategy, implement.
Facilitate and maintain strong channels of communication with customer service, scheduling, production, purchasing and the plant manager while facilitating any necessary follow-up to ensure smooth movement of goods (e.
