We are currently seeking a Purchasing Analyst to support our vision, mission and guiding principles of the company.
The Purchasing Analyst responsibilities include, but are not limited to, Manage material flow to ensure inventory is maintained to the optimum level to support on time customer deliveries while keeping inventory holdings at the appropriate levels Follow and analyze market trends to assess changes in material lead-time and cost to optimize sourcing for Woodsage LLC requirements Work with the Purchasing Director on assigned strategic sourcing projects for assurance of supply, least landed cost and world class quality Collaborate with other departments and management to identify and develop needs and requirements for equipment, materials, products, and acceptable substitutions Work with the sales team, engineering team, and production team on new product and/or process development, material optimization and rationalization Independently perform purchasing activates such as material planning and raw materials procurement, creating purchase orders and supplier performance Qualifications and Education Requirements Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain management, or related field; OR Combination of education and experience Previous experience in manufacturing preferred Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software Work well with all levels of internal management and staff, as well as outside clients & vendors
