Genacross Lutheran Service Wolf Creek - SIGN-ON BONUS of $750PICK-UP INCENTIVE of $5/hourGenacross Lutheran Services - Wolf Creek Campus is in need of Dietary Aides to prepare and serve food to residents at our Health Center facility.
We have part-time 1st shift positions available from 6am-2pm and 2nd shift positions available from 10:
30a-6:
30pm and 3:
30pm-7pm.
This position is responsible for delivering dishes and ensuring good sanitary conditions in cooking and dining premises.
The Dietary Aide must be capable to prepare food by following instructions while adhering to all safety and health standards.
We are looking for individuals who have a passion to assist our aging population and make sure they are getting quality food services.
Primary
Responsibilities:
Set up tables or other dining areas with attention to cleanliness and order.
Prepare meals under the supervision of a dietary manager or cook.
Deliver dishes and trays at designated times and rooms.
Take down dining areas and collect plates, glasses etc.
Discard leftovers and take out garbage.
Clean food stations and wash dishes, cooking vessels and silverware.
Stock ingredients and monitor inventory.
Assist in keeping track of expenses and menu planning.
Help maintain kitchen equipment and appliances.
Qualifications:
Knowledge of sanitation and safety guidelines.
Skilled in preparing meals according to instructions.
Knowledge of operating cookware, bakeware, and cooking appliances.
Interpersonal and customer service skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
Recommended Skills Communication Customer Service Multitasking Passionate Cookware Safety Principles Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
