Responsibilities:
As a Part-Time HR Generalist, you will play a key role in supporting our employees and maintaining the positive culture we've worked hard to build.
Your responsibilities will include:
Recruitment and Onboarding:
Assist in the recruitment process, from posting job openings to conducting initial screenings.
Coordinate new employee onboarding, ensuring a smooth transition for new hires.
Employee Relations:
Foster positive employee relations by addressing questions, concerns, and providing guidance on HR policies and procedures.
Act as a mediator in conflict resolution, promoting a positive and inclusive workplace culture.
Benefits Administration:
Support the administration of employee benefits, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other perks.
Address employee inquiries related to benefits and serve as a liaison with benefit providers.
HR Compliance:
Stay current with employment laws and regulations to ensure the company's compliance.
Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
Workers Compensation and Safety Administration:
Collaborate with department managers to implement our safety curriculum.
Manage our Worker Compensation program.
HR Administration:
Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records.
Assist with HR-related reporting and documentation.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as an HR Generalist or similar role.
Knowledge of HR functions, including recruitment, benefits administration, and employee relations.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
Familiarity with employment laws and regulations.
Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities.
