Manufacturing Process Controls Engineer III
Primary Purpose:
Under direction of engineering manager, supports operations within the facility and design, plan and implement engineering projects within financial, scope and timing targets. With support of engineering manager, the employee hires, develops, trains and supervises associate employees on manufacturing engineering practices.
Job Specifications:
Provides leadership and supports divisional efforts in identifying continuous improvement and quality improvement opportunities.
Supervises 4-5 non-Senior level engineers in regards to operational support, project planning and provides coaching on behavioral and communication skillsets
Develop, coach and train engineering peers and employees on the principles behind existing and new technology.
Primary Duties:
Designs, develops, and tests all aspects of mechanical components, equipment, and machinery.
Applies knowledge of engineering principles to design products such as instruments, robots, machines, etc.
Maximizes efficiency by analyzing layout of equipment, workflow, assembly methods, and work force utilization.
May be involved in fabrication, operation, application, installation, and/or repair of mechanical products.
Determines parts and tools needed in order to achieve manufacturing goals according to product specification.
Perform Programming on equipment for manufacturing operations using Rockwell Automation Software and Siemens-TI software in an effective manner.
Foster development and growth of programming skillset with maintenance team at facility.
Troubleshoot and repair electrical failures of production machines in a timely manner.
Maintains frequent and regular contact with internal customers to understand and address opportunities on projects.
Handles design responsibilities along with other engineers assigned to the project.
Reviews product and process designs for compliance and safety, adherence to company standards, customer contract requirements and to ensure timely completion.
Reviews capital and revenue budgets of multiple projects.
Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures.
Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.

Qualifications:
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree required-BSME or BSEE is highly preferred
Minimum 8 years' experience in engineering, quality or product development, or manufacturing operations
2-5 years supervisory experience preferred
Manufacturing experience, Tier I preferred
Strong communication and organizational skills ability to communicate across all levels within organization and considerable customer interaction.
